On the afternoon of March 31st, Ancient Tea Trading Route – The Group Exhibition of Antiques of Eight Western Provinces (Autonomous Regions) opens grandly at Liaoning Provincial Museum. This exhibition is sponsored by the Professional Committee of Silk Road Museums of Chinese Museums Association and co-sponsored by eight provincial museums - Yunnan Provincial Museum, Sichuan Provincial Museum, Tibet Museum, Gansu Provincial Museum, Qinghai Provincial Museum, The Museum of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Inner Mongolia Museum and Shaanxi History Museum. Total 342 pieces (sets) of antiques from 12 museums of the eight provinces (autonomous regions) are exhibited together, showing the highest Lifeline - Ancient Tea Trading Route to the visitors, so that the visitors can appreciate the culture and customs along the Tea Trading Route.
Tea Trading Route – The Group Exhibition of Antiques of Eight Western Provinces (Autonomous Regions) was held in November of 2015 for the first time and then held in Yunnan Province, Gansu Province, Sichuan Province, Tibet Autonomous Region and Qinghai Province successively, received great repercussions in all walks of life and achieved good social benefits. This time, the exhibition is held in Liaoning. This is the first stop for the eight provinces (autonomous regions) to step out of western China to have their national tour, so it has far-reaching significance.
